Comparing Global Entry and Clear benefits for Amex Platinum cardholders

Global Entry and Clear are useful travel programs for frequent flyers, and you can access statement credit for both memberships if you’re an Amex Platinum cardholder.

You can use Global Entry to speed through US Immigration and Customs. Simply scan your documents using a Global Entry kiosk instead of waiting in line.

This program also includes the benefits of TSA PreCheck, letting you go through airport security without removing your shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, belts, jackets, and electronics.

Clear uses biometric technology to scan your eyes and fingerprints, speeding up airport security at any participating airports, stadiums, and venues across the US.

Use both Global Entry and Clear in conjunction to speed up your airport journey.
