It's free to add money to your account by bank transfer. There's a small fee for adding money to your account with a credit or debit card.
If you're transferring money out of your account in the same currency (for example, sending from your SGD Borderless balance to a SGD bank account), you only pay the small fixed fee. For Singapore, it's S$1.80 per transfer.

All the money in your borderless account is stored in TransferWise's bank accounts. If the address on your TransferWise profile is in Singapore, your money's stored in TransferWise's Singapore bank accounts. If the address on your TransferWise profile is in the US, your money's stored in TransferWise's American bank accounts. And if the address on your profile is in the UK, your money is stored in TransferWise's British bank accounts.
