What if your application is rejected/declined?

If your application for a Heritage Bank Business Visa credit card is rejected or declined, it is wise to seek clarification on why this has occurred.

There are several reasons for why this can occur and while the card issuer is under no obligation to explain, most are open to clarifying this with you.

Errors or omissions in your application could be at fault, however, the more likely cause is an issue with your financials or credit history.

Heritage Bank is quite transparent regarding this when applying. They highlight that if you have:

  • Applied for multiple loans recently
  • Have been bankrupt or
  • Hold a debt agreement

Then you are unlikely to be successful in your credit application with them.
