We have some news. Our fees are changing on transfers from USD to EUR.
Here’s how much your transfers will now cost, depending on the amount you send:
|Amount||Old fee||New fee||Difference||Payment method|
|$100||$3.00||$1.80||$1.20 cheaper||Direct Debit|
|$250||$3.00||$2.90||$0.10 cheaper||Direct Debit|
|$500||$5.00||$4.80||$0.20 cheaper||Direct Debit|
|$750||$7.50||$6.60||$0.90 cheaper||Direct Debit|
|$1,000||$10.00||$8.50||$1.50 cheaper||Direct Debit|
|$2,500||$25.00||$19.80||$5.20 cheaper||Direct Debit|
|$5,000||$50.00||$38.50||$11.50 cheaper||Direct Debit|
The fee used to be 1% on amounts up to $5,000, and 0.7% on any remaining amount over $5,000.
The new pricing will be:
- $1.00 + 0.75% for direct debit and debit cards,
- $1.00 + 0.60% for wire transfers (note that your bank is likely to charge you $25-50, on top of our fees, for wires),
- $1.00 + 2.45% for credit cards.
There are new prices for topping up your borderless account and converting from USD to EUR too. It now costs 0.60% to convert your dollars and €0.6 to withdraw them into another bank account. To top up your borderless account, the fees are now:
- 0.15% for direct debit or debit card,
- 1.85% for credit cards,
- Free for bank transfers.
