TransferWise has a network of bank accounts in various countries. This means TransferWise delivers most supported currencies to their native countries. For instance, when converting into USD, the money can only be transferred to a bank account within the USA. CHF to Switzerland, GBP to the UK.

Euro transfers are the main exception. Euros can be delivered to any bank account within the Eurozone, as well as also to any EUR denominated account within SEPA, such as the UK and Switzerland. The full list of SEPA countries can be found here.

Other exceptions include currencies marked with (2) (more information below).

    Please also note:

  • (1) Currencies marked with a (1) are handled as SWIFT payments both ways. If you require SWIFT payments, please contact our Support team.
  • (2) Currencies marked with (2) are only available as outgoing (such as GBP to HKD, but not HKD to GBP).
  • We are constantly working on new currencies and making all routes and countries available through our standard service. For the latest information on our new currencies and routes, please keep an eye on our News & Blog page, as well as on our Facebook & Twitter.
