Senior Data Assurance Analyst – London

We are looking for Senior Data Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing Finance team in London. You will be ensuring data quality in our automated finance systems and finance DWH and therefore keep us on track to achieve Money Without Borders for our customers across the world.

Senior Data Quality Assurance Analyst sits within Finance Product. Team is driving the entire design, development and maintenance of all the finance systems TransferWise uses to produce financials, regulatory reporting and make business decisions. Together with the rest of the data quality assurance team you will be working on developing and maintaining very advanced, creative and non standard data algorithms, data transformations and analysis over the terabytes of raw and aggregated data we use to produce financials.

Your mission

  • design and implementation of the advanced data reconciliation and control algorithms across multiple databases and finance DWH
  • developing creative automated data driven problem classification algorithms across finance data processing and transformation phases and integrate them into finance-wide real time impact analytical models
  • contribute into automated analytics on timeliness and compliance of real time multi terabyte TransferWise finance DWH
  • support data assurance stakeholders with reporting and insights and allowing them to understand reliability of the financial data on all phases of the finance data processing and transformation

A bit about you

  • self-sufficient with data analytics - you are good with financial data, SQL and databases
  • experienced with designing and implementing financial controls, working with auditors or regulators
  • able to mine the knowledge and show the realistic situation of financials
  • you are able to think several steps ahead to ensure that decisions and actions taken by others in finance and the business contribute into the bigger picture of data quality assurance
  • flexibility to travel and spend 3-4 weeks a quarter with the part of the Finance Product team in Tallinn, Estonia.
