Campus Recruiter – Tallinn

At TransferWise, you’ll be joining a movement of people who believe in a better, fairer, more transparent way of moving money around the world. You’ll collaborate to do your best work and take on problems that no one has looked at before. If you’re keen to learn, grow, try new things and aren’t afraid of a bold plan, you’ll fit right in. It’s a busy, challenging and exciting place to be a Recruiter!

We’re looking for someone to join our early careers recruiting team as a Campus Recruiter based in Tallinn, Estonia. You’ll help us find unique ways to identify and excite those talented, in-demand candidates to join the TransferWise revolution.

This is a unique opportunity to bring your energy, ideas and expertise to Europe’s most valuable FinTech start-up.

Your mission:

  • Help us scale and grow our early careers programs across the globe whilst exceeding our candidates expectations at every point in their journey, including those who are unsuccessful in their applications

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Choose your own path to success - as one of the first hires into the early careers team you’ll have some freedom to define the vision and the responsibility for making it happen
  • Be flexible in how and where you work, we understand everyone needs a little something different, so we’ll do our best to make it happen
  • Travel internationally in particular during our busy recruiting periods (campus events)

Your day to day tasks will vary throughout the campus recruiting cycle but you can expect to:

  • Develop external relationships with target universities to attract top talent
  • Build internal relationships with key stakeholders in the business to identify areas where graduates and interns could make an impact
  • Plan, design and deliver on campus activities
  • Screen, interview and shortlist candidates
  • Be involved in onboarding Graduate and Intern intakes
  • Help design development plans and ongoing support for all early careers hires
  • Get involved in other cross team projects within the recruitment team

A bit about you:

  • Previous recruitment experience, ideally within tech/graduate recruitment
  • You believe candidate satisfaction is the heartbeat of recruitment
  • You’re ready to go beyond just sourcing and managing an interview process, looking at the bigger picture instead
  • You’re an adaptable self-starter - someone who can use their own initiative to keep things running at pace not sitting around waiting for answers
  • You’ll be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and an always-changing environment
  • You’ll be solution driven rather than problem orientated. A tricky situation is a chance for you to make a positive impact, not a reason to demotivate you.
  • Eligible to work in Estonia. Sadly we can’t sponsor visas for this role

Some extra skills that would be awesome:

  • You’ve worked in or recruited for a startup or high growth company before
  • You understand the difference between full stack, front end and back end
  • You have some experience in campus recruitment or organising campus events

Some important stuff we would like you to know

To meet our regulatory obligations as a licensed financial services company, TransferWise needs to take background checks on all new hires, which may include Criminal and Credit checks. Please discuss with the Recruiter if you have any concerns regarding this process.

At TransferWise we believe in fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. Therefore, we want to make sure that our recruitment process is accessible to everyone. So if you need any reasonable adjustments – at any point in the process – we’ll do our best to help. Just let us know what you need on your application form or reply with your request to the email we send you after you have applied. You might need a reasonable adjustment if you’ve got a disability. Or maybe you live overseas, and you’d prefer to meet us over Skype.

Please don’t send anything to the adjustments address if you’re a recruiter, or if you’re making a speculative application. We do work with recruiters from time to time – but only through LinkedIn. And we only accept job applications when a position is actually open. So you’re better off just checking the recruitment pages regularly.
