Operations Specialist – Singapore

A bit about the job:

Our fast-growing operations team is looking for a new Operations Specialist, who's passionate about international transfers and currencies, loves to help customers and wants to work in a disruptive, fast-growing and fun environment.

What you'll get to do:

  • Together with your team build strong relationships and ownership of operational work with internal and external partners by maintaining and improving collaboration;
  • Keeping an eye on the payments engine and solve payments’ related problems;
  • Focus on efficiency and ensure timely and compliant payments processing;
  • Act as the first level problem solver and as a point of contact between TransferWise and our partners;
  • Help translate customer needs into plans and support it with analysis;
  • Work with the customer support and product development teams to make our customers happy;
  • Drive product and working processes improvements;
  • Be creative, friendly and solution-oriented with customers and colleagues;
  • Get to know more about how money moves around the world.

You’ll receive a competitive package including a monthly salary within the range of SGD 3,000 to 3,500 + generous stock options + private healthcare amongst other benefits.

A bit about you. You should have:

  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills to communicate with our partners and customers
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in responsible specialist role;
  • At least a Junior College education (Post-secondary education);
  • Flexibility in working hours;
  • Punctual, independent, proactive and willing to get things done;
  • Ability to multi-task and make decisions in critical situations;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree and finance / banking background is nice to have.
