KYC Analyst - (Thai Speaking) – Singapore

We’re looking for a KYC analyst to join our growing team in Singapore. The role is a unique opportunity to help us deliver our mission: Money without borders! daily to our customers and to help millions more potential customers save money by using TransferWise.

Your mission:

  • Ensure that our customers will be receive a fast and efficient service
  • Make sure customers who are using TransferWise are in line with the local regulations
  • Be part of a self-sufficient, autonomous team that drivers for TransferWise values
  • Daily drive for a better and more sufficient product for our customers

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Be the main contact for questions related to customer on-boarding and responsible for follow-up with the customer about the verification process
  • Ensure customer on-boarding in a timely manner
  • Work with your colleagues in KYC operational teams to enhance their knowledge of TransferWise’s Customer Due Diligence obligations in different markets
  • Escalating any suspicions and/or concerns to the AML and Fraud teams for review
  • Contribute to creating & improving the on-boarding experience for customers that match their expectations as well as that of regulator
  • Review customer identification and other relevant documentation to ensure legitimacy

A bit about you:

  • You’ll have a Singaporean citizenship or permanent residency
  • You’ll be passionate about product and user experience - customers are at the heart of what you do and that empathy drives your decisions
  • You have a good verbal and written English
  • You have a good verbal and written Thai
  • You are self-motivated and result-driven
  • You have ability to multitask and take responsibility during challenging situations
  • You have good interpersonal skills as you will be working with lots of people with different backgrounds
  • You are customer focused  

Some extra skills that would be awesome:

  • Any additional Asian language would be a great addition
  • Previous work experience in the financial sector that has given you an understanding of the relevant regulatory landscape
  • Familiarity with reading legal and regulatory documents
