We’re looking for a Chargeback Specialist to join our growing Chargeback & Recovery team in the Tampa office. This role is a unique opportunity for a passionate and customer-focused problem solver to work in a disruptive, fast-growing, and fun environment, while helping millions more potential customers save money by using TransferWise.

Your mission:

  • Provide world-class support to our customers via email and phone to resolve their disputes
  • Diligently solve payments’ related problems
  • Review customer disputes and raise chargebacks to relevant merchants to further investigate, and also improve and automate the dispute process
  • Investigate cases to recover funds from customers and prevent transfer losses before they happen
  • Work with the Operations and Fraud teams to improve the overall customer experience
  • Work with the Product and Development teams to identify actionable areas for improvement

A bit about you:

  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • You’ve got a keen eye, with attention to detail that’s unmatched
  • You’re cool under pressure, able to multi-task and make decisions in critical situations without breaking a sweat
  • You can go with the flow, with a high tolerance for routine, but also an ability to keep up with fast changes
  • You’ve got great typing skills of at least 35 words per minute (required)
  • You’ve got flexibility in working hours
  • You’re ready to fly, and willing to travel 1-2 times a year, if needed

A bit more about you:

  • You’ve got at least a Bachelor’s degree
  • You must currently be legally authorized to work in the US

 

Some extra skills that would be awesome:

  • Previous experience in chargebacks, recovery, or disputes resolution
  • Previous customer support experience, preferably in banking, internet, or telecom industries, or in an international customer care center
  • Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese
