Corporate Finance Manager – London

TransferWise is looking for a Corporate Finance Manager to be at the forefront of our growth and our mission with a particular focus on setting and executing our capital fundraising strategy over the coming years and helping to manage relationships with both existing and potential new investors.

We are one of the fastest growing companies in Europe, we’re backed by investors like Richard Branson, Index Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz and we have ambitious growth plans in the pipeline, but we can’t do it alone! This is a full-time position (no direct reports) within our growing Finance team in our awesome Shoreditch office.

Your mission:

  • Drive and coordinate future fundraising strategy and processes, both debt and equity
  • Manage the day to day relationships with existing and potential future investors, supporting the Board process and our monthly and quarterly reporting cycle
  • Work closely with other areas of the Finance team and TransferWise, for example:
    • FP&A: Ensure alignment on internal vs external reporting and communication
    • Core finance & accounting: support the teams in understanding and meeting the future requirements for Control and Reporting
    • Treasury: Help the teams optimise the use of and return on capital employed in the business
    • CoSec & Legal: Help administer our increasing global business structure

A bit about you:

You’re passionate about transforming the financial industry for good and you have:

  • Experience running fundraising processes (critically within an investment bank, but wonderful if also within a company) and a deep understanding of capital markets, both debt and equity
  • Experience working and communicating with VC / growth stage as well as public market investors
  • Fast growth tech experience / exposure
  • FinTech and payments preferred
  • Hands on experience building financial models and amazing at storytelling (inc. writing nice decks)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and you’re highly numerate
  • You get stuff done.
