Our design mission
As marketing designers at TransferWise, our mission is always part marketing, part education. TransferWise has a powerful value proposition – we make it cheaper to send money abroad – but it can be a challenge to communicate. So we’re forever finding new ways to teach people about things like exchange rates, hidden fees, why international finance is traditionally unfair, why we’re just as safe as a bank, and plenty else.
We’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer (Marketing)
We’re building organic growth products at a dizzying pace. These include the virality program invite page, emails, and other assets; campaign and SEO landing pages; price comparison widgets; blogs; currency converters; and other mini-sites. You’d be working on the UX/UI of these projects, and your overall goal would be to help potential customers understand how we’re better than banks for sending, spending, and receiving money abroad (ie, we’re cheaper, more convenient, have better customer service, etc.).
Even though your focus will be acquisition projects, you’ll be a part of the larger design team. You’ll collaborate with brand designers, UX researchers and copywriters to create great digital campaigns.
On any given day, you might:
You might be a good fit for this role if:
You’ll be working with smart, friendly people and there are some great benefits, like a flexible working policy, generous parental leave, and an annual company weekend getaway. To name a few.
At TransferWise, we’re changing how money moves around the world.
Sending money from one country to another should be as simple, fast and cheap as sending an email. But today it’s unfairly expensive, confusing and inefficient. We’re using our passion for honesty, fairness and useful technology to build something better for people all over the world
We’ve made a good start; over 4 million customers send £4 billion every month with us. And even better, they’re saving £4 million in fees every day! But we’re not just for money transfers. Our customers trust us to store over £3 billion in their TransferWise borderless accounts, where they can hold over 40 currencies at once and convert between them whenever they like.
Those are some big numbers, but so far we’re only dealing with 1% of all the money moving around the world. There’s so much more to do, and so many more people to reach.

To meet our regulatory obligations as a licensed financial services company, TransferWise needs to take background checks on all new hires, which may include Criminal and Credit checks. Please discuss with the Recruiter if you have any concerns regarding this process.
At TransferWise we believe in fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. Therefore, we want to make sure that our recruitment process is accessible to everyone. So if you need any reasonable adjustments – at any point in the process – we’ll do our best to help. Just let us know what you need on your application form, or drop us an email at email@example.com. You might need a reasonable adjustment if you’ve got a disability. Or maybe you live overseas, and you’d prefer to meet us over Skype.
Please don’t send anything to the adjustments address if you’re a recruiter, or if you’re making a speculative application. We do work with recruiters from time to time – but only through LinkedIn. And we only accept job applications when a position is actually open. So you’re better off just checking the recruitment pages regularly.
