Cards Operations Specialist – Singapore

We are looking for an enthusiastic Cards Operations Specialist to join our growing team in Singapore. The role is a unique opportunity to support our operations department and help millions more potential customers save money by using TransferWise.

A bit about the job:

TransferWise brings fairness into the world of money. Your mission will be to allow people spend as locals across the globe using their borderless account and TransferWise card. We already have borderless accounts up and running, now we need help in Cards Operations team to get the TransferWise card off the ground.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Be part of building TransferWise card and borderless account, as well as mapping and driving the product improvements, in cooperation with internal and external partners; 
  • Together with your team build ownership of operational processes and solutions
    (for example monitoring daily operations, setting up financial operations and managing stock);
  • Help translate customer needs into plans and support it with analysis; 
  • Act as the first level problem solver; 
  • Help reach KPIs and SLAs for the team that impact customer experience; 
  • Contribute in short- and long-term planning;
  • Focus on efficiency - take control of partner fees and operational costs.

What we’re looking for in an ideal candidate:

  • Valid Singaporean citizenship or permanent residency;
  • Excellent written and verbal English;
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in responsible specialist role;
  • At least a Junior College education (Post-secondary education);
  • Proven track record of taking individual ownership and responsibilities;
  • Ability to multitask, be proactive and make decisions in critical situations;
  • Experience in maintaining relationships with product owners and developers;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Flexibility in working hours;
  • Experience in partner relationship management;
  • Basic data analysis experience.
