You have two options for 2-step login - SMS, or via your TransferWise app.
The SMS option means you'll be sent a security code by text when you login, which you'll need to enter on screen before you can access your account. If you're planning to change your phone number soon, please update it here to avoid losing access to your account. If you can't receive messages to the number we have on file, please call us.
TransferWise app confirmation means we'll send you a notification to your phone via the app, you confirm you're logging in, and you'll be able to access your account. Please do not delete your app before turning this option off, otherwise you will be locked out of the account. If that happens, call us and we'll gladly help.
In order to keep your money safe, setting up 2-step login is mandatory when using certain features of your account, including accessing borderless accounts.
