The type of bank transfers that you can receive, and the currency you can receive them in, vary depending on the bank details you are receiving into.
With your EUR IBAN/bank details, you can receive any SEPA transfers that are made in Euros. You can also receive international SWIFT payments in Euros. This means that you can receive EUR payments from anywhere in the world.
With your UK GBP sort code and account number, you can receive local GBP payments made via the Faster Payments scheme. You can also receive BACS and CHAPS payments, allowing you to have your salary and other types of regular, scheduled earnings paid into your account. Right now, you won’t be able to receive SWIFT or SEPA payments into your UK account numbers. This means that money that arrives to your GBP borderless account should be sent from an account in the UK.
With your US routing and account number, you can receive both ACH and domestic wire payments sent from within the United States. There are separate routing numbers for ACH and wire payments, which you can see in your borderless account. International Wire / SWIFT is accepted only from the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, British Virgin Islands, Canada, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Isle of Man, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UK, and United Arab Emirates.
And with your AUD account number and BSB code, you can receive local Australian bank transfers. Right now, you won’t be able to receive SWIFT payments with your AUD details. This means that money that arrives to your AUD borderless account should be sent from an account in Australia. We can't currently accept transfers from Australian Superannuation Funds and Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF).
You can receive payments from third parties to your borderless account as long as they fall within our Acceptable Use Policy.
