Recipient Full Name Yes When sending to individuals, please include first name and surname
Recipient IBAN Yes IBAN should be 28 characters long (letters and numbers) and begin with PL
Recipient SWIFT/BIC code Yes SWIFT/BIC code 8-11 characters (letters and numbers)
Fixed/specific amount Yes The currency you're sending from must also be able to send fixed amounts. For more information, please click here.

Sending from PLN

TransferWise fee 0.5% (or 5 PLN for under 1000 PLN) Except when sending to SWIFT currencies, where an additional €7 flat fee is charge in addition to the outlined fees

Debit/Credit Card Payments Yes The limit per payment for PLN card payments is 10,000 PLN. There is no fee for paying with debit card, and paying by credit card carries an additional 0.3% fee.


PLN Refunds

If you cancel your transfer from PLN when you have already sent the money to us and the transfer has not yet been completed, then we can simply refund your money back to you. 

The money must be sent back to the account it came from and we will ask for the following details:

- Account holder name
- Bank code (BIC/SWIFT)

Your money will then be sent back to you and should and should arrive on the same working day.


Additional Note

We cannot send PLN to Poland for the purpose of paying tax, insurance, fees or other liabilities to the centralised budget, i.e. Municipality, National Insurance etc.
