When signing up with TransferWise for the first time, you have the option to use Google+ or Facebook as an alternative to entering an e-mail and creating a password.
If you choose 'Connect with Google' - You'll be taken to a separate screen where you can choose which of your Google accounts you wish to sign up using. Once you select this, you'll then be shown the information which TransferWise would like to access and you can then click accept.
Once this is done, you'll then be taken back to TransferWise to the first step of our payment creation page to make your first transfer.
If you choose 'Connect with Facebook' - You'll be taken to a separate page to confirm that you are happy for TransferWise to receive the specified information, and if you select 'Okay' then you'll be taken straight back to TransferWise to make your first payment.
You can also select 'Edit the info you provide', and adjust what TransferWise will have access to.
Please be aware though, that if you choose not to let us access your e-mail address, you will need to add it yourself prior to using TransferWise, and will see the below message every time you try to access the site.
For this reason, we'd recommend allowing access to the e-mail immediately, as it needs to be used for contacting you regarding your payments.
If you use a nickname or any name which differs with your given name (as shown in your passport) on Google+ or Facebook, please update your name in your personal profile to your correct name once you have signed up.
