|TransferWise Fee||1.5% (or 10 BRL for payments under 667 BRL)||When sending from currencies where the fee would normally be 0.5%, the fee is instead 1.5%. Our fee includes 0.38% IOF (Imposto sobre Operações Financeiras).|

|Recipient Full Name||Yes||Please include first name and surname.|
|Recipient Local Account Number and Type||Yes||BRL Local Account number should be 4-20 digits, and the type of account must be specified.|
|Recipient Bank name and branch code||Yes||Bank name can be selected via a dropdown list during payment setup, branch code should be 4-5 digits.|
|Recipient Tax ID/CPF||Yes||BRL Tax ID should be 11 digits.|
|Recipient Phone Number||Yes||This is mandatory for all BRL recipients and must be a local Brazilian phone number.|
|Fixed/specific amount||Yes||The currency you're sending from must also be able to send fixed amounts. Please see our other currency FAQs more information.|
|Rate Limit||5%||When creating a payment to Brazil, you are subject to a rate limit of 5%. This means that if, in the time between transfer creation and TransferWise completing your transfer, the rate drops by 5% or more, then your transfer may be delayed.|

Information regarding BRL business payments
Payments to Brazil can only be personal payments. Both the sender and recipient must be a privately owned account of an individual. The money for a BRL transfer cannot come from a business account, trust fund, or any type of third party account and it can not be sent to a business in Brazil.
