For the majority of regular transfers, you will receive the following automated email notifications from us during the transfer process -
- Completion of transfer order creation*
- Your money received by us
- Your money paid out to your recipient from our side**
We will also contact you primarily via email or potentially by phone in case there are any issues. Please make sure that your email address and the phone number on your profile are correct.
*Please note: This e-mail is sent after you either complete a direct payment to us (e.g. debit/credit card, ACH debit), or choose the option 'I've sent the money to TransferWise'. Please ensure when you receive this e-mail that you have made a payment to us.
**This e-mail confirms that we have paid out money to the recipient details specified, this is not confirmation that the money has been received. You can check payout times in the relevant currency article.
