As TransferWise grows we notice something pretty special - our members love sharing the service with friends.
To say thanks, the TransferWise referral programme was born. Now, you're rewarded if you refer a friend to TransferWise. We started to wonder how a visualisation of members connected by the programme would look. So we built it. (Using R and Gephi for those interested).
We took a sample of users from 3 countries and mapped them together. Each dot represents a TransferWise user. Each connected dot is a user they invited (or were invited by). It's amazing to see how the TransferWise revolution has spread and how our users are connected. Plus it looks pretty cool. If you'd like to see a high resolution version click here.
