We’re launching GBP and EUR Direct Debits for your business
From today, you can pay by Direct Debit straight from your TransferWise for Business account — to make doing business without borders even easier.
Why are we launching Direct Debits now?
Because since 2011, we’ve been on a mission to make finance fairer. From sending money abroad to the launch of our debit card, we’re now helping over 6 million people and businesses get the real exchange rate. But we listened to you, and learned that something was missing to truly achieve money without borders; Direct Debits. Because our borderless mission means not only faster and cheaper transfers — but more convenient ones, too. Businesses small and large should be able to conveniently set up recurring payments, without the faff each time.
Pay your bills effortlessly
Service subscriptions, monthly bills, and charity donations — most companies now like to get paid by Direct Debit. Now you can set them up to pay across Europe, right from your TransferWise for Business account. This way you don’t have to worry about whether your money will get there each month.
To set up a Direct Debit:
→ Add GBP or EUR balance
→ Click Get bank details
→ Give your GBP or EUR bank details to the business you’re paying
Et Voilà. We’ll take care of the rest.
Does your business receive payments too?
As well as paying by Direct Debits, you can use your GBP and EUR balances as payout accounts to receive money from across Europe.
If your business collects payments from the likes of:
→ Stripe
→ PayPal
→ Ebay
You can use your EUR and GBP bank details to set up TransferWise as a payout account — and save on those high conversion fees and sneaky exchange rate markups. And if you’re collecting regular deposits from your Amazon sellers account, you can do so straight into your TransferWise balances too.
What’s next?
To get the ball rolling, we’re launching Direct Debits for GBP and EUR. That means your business can pay for bills or subscriptions in the UK and Eurozone — all from one account.
But keep an eye out for more currencies soon.
TransferWise is the smart, new way to send money abroad.
