How secure is TransferWise? Is my deposit safe with you?

As safe as in the bank. TransferWise is registered with the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA) as a fully authorized payments institution (reference 571669) which gives us a license for collecting money and for making international payments.

We use trusted large UK and EU banks for holding deposits and keep customers funds separate from our operational bank accounts.

We take security very seriously: Our employees are regularly trained and our processes reviewed to make sure that we are up to date on the latest threats.
All your transactions are protected by industry standards HTTPS encryption.
